Professor Marie A. Roch co-organized a workshop in October at the National Institute for Math and Biological Synthesis with Dr. Arik Kershenbaum (NIMBioS, U. Tennesse) and Professor Dan Blumstein (Dept. Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, UCLA) on vocal sequences in animals. The international workshop brought together over forty researchers to discuss emerging methods for animal communication research.
