Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science is home to faculty who are principal investigators of research grants from NSF, DOD, NIH, etc. The department encourages collaborative interdisciplinary research with faculty members from other departments. We offer Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science. Multiple faculty members are supervising Ph.D. students through two joint doctoral programs (JDPs): SDSU-UC Irvine Computational Science JDP and SDSU-UCSD Engineering JDP.
